Precision Machining of Metals and Fabricators  

 

Valco Planer Works is a family owned business dedicated to its customers.  Specialties include heavy precision machining with its 20 planers, plus fabrication to client specifications.  Since 1947 (formerly Park Metal Products, Inc), it has provided a complete machining service from blueprint to finished product.

 

            At present its facilities total over 45,000 square feet of shop space.  Of this, 17,000 square feet is devoted to heavy machining.  A 10-ton overhead crane is available in this area for heavy assemblies.  Two 5-ton overhead cranes serve an adjacent area of 7500 square feet, primarily used for welding and fabrication operations. 

 

            The combination of the above facilities provide a wide range of capabilities for the machining of large tooling fixtures, lathe beds, machine columns, mill tables and bases for large machine tool rebuilders, and machine tool manufacturers; also intricate castings for machine tool conversions.

 

            Valco Planer Works has the facilities and technical know-how to convert small or large machines to profile equipment to a customer’s design and requirements.

 

            Bar stock or extrusion type configurations that ultimately form parts for the aerospace industry, brake dies, molds for rubber and plastic parts, airfoils, precision tracks are also machined at Valco Planer Works.
